I think it looks ugly. If you agree i would try making a new sprite.

Its a good start. But needs some work. I think it look a bit too elvish. I think its the stance, he does not look quite stocky enough.

i think the current is good as a basis any i suggest modifying that (this image u sent looks a little insect like - sorry for the opinion, no offense

Well the head is taken from orcs in game and edited. If you like the current let's keep that one. I really dislike that and i wouldn't know how to improve it, it just seems a fat green man

That a lot better. But I think the legs might be holding it back. I think its their position.

It was taken from the base tileset where everythinf is 32x32 and such limit will make every big unit looks bad

dirt blood: mayybe i dont know, or skin details, or something: currently they
a) look flat (eg. on arms) and too smooth,
b) and the boots too modern/symmetrically-cylindrical -> so not realistic.
