Zacharymib & Travislam are spamming the forum. Looks like a hack cause they've posted game related content before

yeah, I know about the spammers, and I remove their spamming posts I see

I saw another spammer, today. His forum name is wiliamm

I think the problem isn't the spammer itself but that his password is too easy and hacked

I have hopefully deleted all spammer bots and all of their posts

yes, but i did not find how to activate captcha in phpBB.

Spammers are back

yeah, i realized that we have captcha currently but these fuckin bots can solve it - i will look for plugins to have more protection.

I mean captchas for each post. The bots couldn't solve the captcha. They hack The (too easy) password of some users und then they're posting spam

I think they register, since no bot user have any normal posts.

I have just activated a better captcha module.

yes, and only 2 spam. This is good. other forums have hundreds of spams. But this is nice and tidy

If you have access to the ACP, go into it-> forums-> userposts -> permissions...you should be able to set up post captcha's from there, but you'll have to adjust the settings for each section separately...hope this helps...

Edit: i just noticed that i'm a little late with this post--by a few months...sorry about that... *facepalm* ...lol
