AoF Templar

Post by StormSaint373 »

"Woe unto the enemies of light, Wherefore the soldiers of ages past shall rise and take up arms to meet the rising darkness!!!"

Research Cost: 7 turns

Allows priests to Summon a Templar to aid them in battle!

Like summon Ent except...

Cooldown 6 turns, summon is permanent

What do you think?

No.
1. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay too powerful summon for 2 turn unit.
2. Permanent. Even worse.

Or better yet!

A revamp of the Templar for AoF, and have him recruited from the church.

Personally i like templars from aos and if they will be allowed to heal nearby units they will be good enough to be recruted. No need of changing stats (exept maybe healing power, it can be higher)

Actually, they can heal others, but only on auto cast-if you leave him with action next to wounded unit, he will heal it. Little lamez I don't know why it's like that, but it works.

I know this auto-heal.
I mean normal, targetable heal.

I like that too. But the Templar is an AoS unit. I HATE THE FACT THAT I CANNOT RECRUIT TEMPLARS AND THE AI CAN!!!

Edited Subject title

We will need to do the following...

Change the appearance to fantasy
Change name
Make it recruitable by players
FIX exorcism (at least range 1-3) currently can't cast!!!
Fix heal (make targetable)

I aggree with u
The current stats for priest sucks and the Templar needs improvement.
I suggested a rework of paladins as buildable, healing and combat, who wants more. It's more fantasy, resolves the issue?
Thy gave me a sword to pierce a lie,
Serrated edge for the deamon inside
A moment I'm torn between two tides,
But all I need, I bear inside
