Axe thrower upgrades - IMPLEMENTED

This unit is a bit too weak and is mostly useless.

It's range (3) is too low compared with those of an upgraded human archer (that is 8) and it doesn't deal a damage high enough to justify its existance.

When upgraded this unit will improve its attack more than a archer and it will increase in range too.

I was thougth that was only i that feels them really nerfed. I guess they should have a boost against the other infantries, since they are good melee and ranged units. But these upgrades looks really good to reinforce him.

when did the human archers got 8 range? Did they get boosted on the Dev vers? Bcz they should have 6 :s
Breaking the barrier of "work for the job" to "put the job to work for you" is a thing that i want to reach someday aswell... Probably i should make some notes about it...

With smith bonuses it becomes 8

Definately axemen of humans need some improvements.

Is a Axe thrower simply a swordman who has range or is it just a skirmisher with more powerful attacks without defense?

I believe its already in game just not opened to players
Since it fellows under same Json upgrades could go in as well

He means they are restricted, just for AI

Players can't train them.


For unit :
Now with revamp they may get 1 starting armor
And it's shield cud be more savage looking idk.
