If i make it rest on the groun the tip will have to go over the head of the reaper because it wouldn't enter the 32 pixel limit otherwise. I'll add some details to the skirt tough

i just saw your version with the robe - that looks good! but the bottom end of the robe is still not natural - ends with a too perfect curve

also the reaper definitely should not be lifted that high, makes a look for the character if he was frightened and starts screaming os something :)

here is a new idea for reaper position (a draft)
- it is pointing to the observer direction a bit.

correction: "ends with a too perfect curve" -> maybe with a little shading it will vanish.

What about that? I don't like much the schythe blade on the head (that seems a bit unnatural cause the blade should go the opposite side)

good! simply flip the blade to point to ground as laying on shoulder (that is the way of carrying it - imho)

other than that it is cool!

It won't enter the frame this way :(
Also (imho) the blade should stay in this position, ready to attack a enemy on the field. I can draw it for you but i think that it wouldn't look very good

Ok. I'll make the animated version right now

Also, instead of summoning zombies what about the same summoning spell of the liche? If my memori don't gail me he can summon everything based on the different corpse, right?

It is always a special building unit. If you think is op we might slightly raise some stats and bring back the unit cost to 8

Hate to dig this thing up, but could we have different bonuses after it is unhorsed? On horseback, it has the standard mounted melee bonuses, but unhorsed it should have to fight differently. I'm thinking it could be a good anti cavalry unit when unhorsed, since a scythe isn't really a good weapon against humans, but is actually effective when turned on a horse...... although it is only really useful for that application against the horse's legs. :x

Assuming it's application on horses was half of effective to the pike's. It should have no more than half its bonus.
What number do you suggest?

Not sure. I know it's a little against the grain to point out that a scythe is rather horrible as a weapon, but it is. It looks impressive​, but it was designed for crops, which don't resist and are much easier to cut than people. Even as farm implements go, there are far better for warfare. A sickle, for example. Not to mention that a sharpened pitchfork is about as good as a spear. For that matter, many farmers even had an axe. The scythe is only a weapon in the movies. Literally the only effective use it had in warfare was against horses, and mostly because it functions on their legs exactly as it would on crops.

Maybe they can have some sort of permanent crippling affect? Complimented by a 200% bonus of course.

Sounds about right. This makes it a little more unique from it's mounted version once you kill the horse.
