Re: Bandits: Hostile Neutral

Fireling: sometimes humans with draconic ancestry are gifted an especially strong dose of the flames within. It gives them strength, but burns them as well. Their fire scarred faces are rarely accepted in society, so they often are forced to live as bandits using their abilities to survive. This, of...

Re: Bandits: Hostile Neutral

I see we're finally building up for hostile neutrals. A couple suggestions Rogue necromancer: has dig corpse and raise dead. Hangs close to base and takes advantage of any corpses it can come up with. Orcish brigand: strong basic unit like highwayman, but higher hp and power. Gives the ai some varie...

Master minotaurs research doesn't disable production of elite or upgrade existing elite minotaurs. It simply unlocks production of master minotaurs.

Note the full movement of the dragon, despite the slowed icon on the status. Slow is extremely important for stopping a lot of foes like green dragons, so please fix soon.

Re: Easter Egg units

One option I've suggested to Alexander is that certain units will not show in help or upgrades screen, but will only appear in production options when you are in fun mode and have met the full criteria for them. For example, if a player has researched area damage, flight, and gunpowder they would be...

Thunderstorm should not require tridents 3. It's not that useful anyway, and with bladesinger around I'm not sure it's worth researching *without* the requirement.

Re: Succubus

I think I'd go with 5 cost. Convert is a fairly useful spell and I know I'm more than willing to toss a lich in an express wagon to the front to try and convert some enemies, like green dragons and especially any kind of healers. This is particularly exaggerated when you consider mummies can immobil...

I'd say just give sunrise stats +5 hp and its ok
I gave it 10 hp to be within kill range of goblin grenade. We could go up to 14 I suppose and let the burning finish it off. I don't want useless ships hanging around for no reason when they can't do anything but tank a hit or two.

Re: Magical archer

I think any form of magic archers should be for elves really. I wouldn't mind a fire archer for humans, or even an upgrade to give their archers slowing weapon 1 via enchanted arrows, but not a unit where the archer itself is also a mage.

Currently the lich is a high cost, unarmored, low hp walking target. If it could temporarily gain invisibility, I think that would greatly increase survival rates.

Needs double strike, disenchant, and exorcism. I'd suggest a shield on the image and some decent pierce armor, to give a healer that isn't vulnerable to being shot.

Re: Rising Sun Elves

This one's on a 4 cost unit, not a 2 cost lol. Harder to spam, and keeps the cooldown. I do agree that it's a bit much on healer because they're so cheap. Also why I'm suggesting that burning not wreck undead basic units. Seriously, one instance is equal to 20 damage given time so it's much more of ...

Re: On burning and skeletons

Maybe both. The point of fire was supposed to save elves from the high pierce armor in early game. Elves don't have blunt weapons right now, so they need something to get past the pierce armor before they can research magic arrows.

On burning and skeletons

It's been mentioned that there are too many sources of burning to keep undead basic units useful. I rather agree with this, as burning should counter powerful units like trolls more than units that dont need such a large scale counter. I suggest burning be removed from skeletons (as well as poison) ...

Those berserkers were awesome in concept and look.
If you wanted something dead, drop an ulfserker on it. Continuous combat until one side dies can rack up massive damage in one turn. Of course, you probably weren't keeping it alive for long.

Re: Rising Sun Elves

It probably is, but how much material are you trying to enchant on either side? For the cost to enchant the entire armor coating to the same strength as one blade, you'd make the zeppelin much more expensive. And this isn't counting base material strength difference. Also, an aluminum shell would re...

I think an enchanted carbon steel blade with the force of a dragon behind it can still poke a hole and let the helium out, even if there's an aluminum shell around the zeppelin's balloon.

Re: Rising Sun Elves

This particular one is trained to fight flying enemies. It's not exactly a spear, as a naginata has a blade at the end and not just a tip. This unit will target wings, ropes, fittings, and any weak points from up close, so I think it's pretty reasonable. Besides, zeppelins operate on buoyancy, so th...
