Not sure I like the concept of anything spawning extra units for orcs beyond goblin spikers. Now it might be good to have uruk captain have an aura, maybe to give +1 speed at radius 3 to all uruks. That's the one stat that would be useful to them without getting too over the top.

I'd suggest it drop the spell resistance by a lot. It's still fairly tanky for no real weaknesses. Lower armor did help a lot though.

Vanishing is meaningless in undead, and best able to summon a 95 hp 20 power monstrosity every 3 turns that's immune to burning and very hard to slow is just op. Make side quests optional, but directly assist in the main goal. For example, a "rescue my husband" quest may take approximately 10 turns out of the way, but then you find out that the dwarf miner you rescued just happened to have enough explosives stashed away to wipe out 75% of the enemy's defense...

If we are adding them as fun units, balancing them out it's a great option.. That's what I'm doing now. In fact, that was the design from the start. I tried to match stronger abilities to weaker ones, or lower stats, else a very specific role a character filled. Typically it was 3 active abilities ...

Ravencloak: remove group attack 3 aura. Lower power to 10, increase range to 6, add power range 1. Use fireball animation as projectile. Makes a better pyromancer this way. Actually I've been thinking about suggesting a revision on veteraning anyway. My suggestion is to remove the armor and hp buffs from veteraning, so it just raises power, and add an "experience" stat that starts at 0 and increases by 1 with every kill. I suppose it must be mentioned that swords dancer isn't going to benefit quite as much as we might think. Its whirlwind attack does bypass armor, but might hit allies, and only on the offensive. Ignoring armor is the same as raising power, except in rare cases where the target has lower than 3 armor and wouldn't die in one hit anyway. Might be hard to make walls walkable like that. Perhaps an easier option is for a wall and unit to combine (like eagle riders) into one unit. I'd say use archers to start, and maybe expand the idea later.

Got a bug that prevents me from building more than one rune smith, tower, kingdom, or zeppelin carrier via worker. It keeps saying that there can only be one per map.
