Re: English units

Ok the falconet is nearly ready, I made the whole thing quite a bit smaller. If you dont mind Gral i will paste your crew member onto the new cannon. I will post it tomorrow as it still requires some work. I am very happy rams will be gone :D and if we agree on it i would want to nerf wagons too :D...

Many German states also had hussars, so did France, Spain, Austria, Hungary etc. Maybe we can make them a special unit for only some nations if you want.

Light cavalry will need upgrades nonetheless
yeah i mean its just the name

I just wanted to make some black outline but it looks too blocky if I just use the black color so I used some shadow like black outline. Hopefully it will work ingame

austria and HRE can be the same, except for the 18th and 19th century. For the rest of factions we wont be able to include, we can add them as factionless units cant we?

Well since the units are some kind of generic for every period they should focus on the middle of them, then they shouldnt have furket...i mean, we dont have to focus on the early part of the period, if so, we should make even more versions
i can do that

Re: English units

I like that idea. However, we still don't have musketman sprite. Also since this includes Napoleonic wars we need an early 19th century sprite. Quadrupole drew nice line infantry with hats from that period so that is a good match, I added here also. I will attach them all here, with their centuries...

Re: English units

arent dragoons meant to ride their horses to strategic positions and then dsimount to use short muskets? That was the earliest version of dragoons. 17th and onwards their role changed to mostly ranged cavalry, that could also dismount and fight in melee. I dont know about the image with horses stil...
