Totally forgot to say this, there's a game called pixel dungeon. And there is a lot of version of it because it's open source and I'm pretty sure the rest are as well.

The nagas and snakes buildings would need to be egyptian in nature, also might be a good idea to separate the lizardfolks and the kobolds into different buildings.

Well you're right about that, it definitely has that Aztec feel to it. due to it looking like temples. Perhaps at some greenery and maybe less team color with more stone. But do as you do.

All of them are interesting and unique ideas, as unit upgrade won't seem to be a thing for this race. Wish to try your hand at the shapeshifter? I'm sure would be quite the design. Also can you remodel quite a few of the buildings, making them either aztec or junger related.

It's an interesting idea, I would like the idea of more shift shifters. I would think about it as them shedding their formed. Probably as a different unit.
