Re: Functioning unit option to hide units not being used.
I also believe a idea like this could be beneficial for other iterations of AOS such as AOF and AOW.

Re: Functioning unit option to hide units not being used.
Potentially, it would make it more effiecent choosing units that you favor using, it might be a good alternative as well.

Functioning unit option to hide units not being used.
I was wondering that is it possible within the game to potentially have a menu option of some kind where you can hide units that you dont use or dont like using, such as for example I dont use the templar knight often or at all and I dont want to have it clutter my buildings where I could see and ma...

SS Infantry
Potentially having SS Soldiers as either a reskin or as a slightly buffed up regular infantry due to their loyalty to the Fuhrer. They should be a turn more expensive probably too.

Re: Orc Slaver?
I believe by base I more or less mean like the base units you typically have when you start a game with no upgrades, so by that it would be goblins and orcs and for lizards once unlocked kobolds and lizards.

Re: Orc Slaver?
Perhaps to symplify it should only effect the very basic races, primarily elves, humans, probably other orcs?, dwarves and lizardmen. If we were to include all possible races and sub races it may be a bit much to be quite honest.

What are your guys thoughts on a special converter unit for the orcs that enslave units. Personally when I think of this they typically convert a unit that reverts them to a very weak state (Think of a thrall that have barely any armor or equipment) and are essentially cannon fodder to protect super...

Armor penetration might be a good idea, 7 turns seems a bit much but considering its stats it may be required for that.

Re: Dwarf Grenadier
Potentially more expensive with a greater range, definetly more expensive. A tech idea would be to give them frag grenades that do bonus damage to infantry

Dwarf Grenadier
Self explanatory, this unit has a grenade launcher lobs bombs over units in order to do some devastating anti-infantry damage. Could potentially have a bonus against units in general but no bonus against structures.

Actually I agree with what you stated, I believe that would be better to have those bonuses rather then being anti-dragon due to other units.

Re: ratmen as a hostile unit
Similar to skaven. I believe we are too saturated with preexisting and added races, if they were to be any part of race due to being evil, the closest bet would be the undead perhaps, most likely as a experiment and a cost effective unit from a building.

Re: Human Subrace: Ice States
Although I personally think humans should have firearms, it could be interesting to have a form of crossbow, either that or just have them interchangable. On the concept of them being so versatile they could be either weak on both ends, or relatively decent at both, and by that end make them more ex...

Human Subrace: Ice States
This is a idea I got after playing some Warhammer III, and for those that don't know its Kislev. Kislev essentially in Warhammer 3 was the northern most human kingdom that is based on the order faction. These guys are extremely useful for their forgiving playstyle as virtually ALL their units are ex...

Re: Witcher/Witchman
Personally I think they would fit the anti-monster stygma quite well, able to take on dragons, trolls, and other monsters. Of course though they would be effective against humanoid enemies, but it wouldn't be effiecent to use them on that.

Re: Witcher/Witchman
Sounds interesting. As for general stats I believe they would be relatively good, probably a solid 6-7 turn unit with high HP and armor.

Re: Witcher/Witchman
On the topic of having a monster hunter esque unit with basic magic skills, I believe it will suit to be in a tavern or guild and perhaps as a merc unit.

Re: Witcher/Witchman
Makes sense, I guess a witchman would suffice. Would it fit any playstyle or reduntant? It would be more interesting to have a take at the battle mage however their spells are more simple or in utility rather then the battle mage, such as slowing enemies down, burning them, force pushing them, et ce...

Been playing alot of Witcher 3 recently after finding some time to play from college, and I feel in love with the idea of a mutated human warrior that has superhuman reflexes and fighting ability that is also a monster hunter. Personally if we were to discuss this further it would probably have a de...

This gives me kingdom Rush vibes, I'm wondering that as a special ability if they are grouped up they can do higher damage in a "frenzy".

Enslaved seems more of a thing for the undead or orcs, pretty weird for humans to use.

Named/Famed Units
What are your thoughts on having famed or extremely well known units being their own thing, you can say they are regarded as elite units that only one can be on the field and have above average stats as well as their own special abilities? Examples would be Easy Company 506th infantry regiment for t...
