I have noticed that unless the ai contols a town that is directly adjacent to a water tile they will just sit there for eternity stuck on their island. I agree it was an invasion so Germany and ussr (if u guys want them in here also) shouldn't have TC but I think Poland should to represent Kraków, etc and to help balance the fact that two nations are invading.

It's cool, I like the idea but what about a Commando campaign that has all the major commando type raids in it. Seems hard to make an entire campaign out of one mission imho. Well....as stated above gas wasn't really used in ww2 since Hitler had been gassed in the First World War and even he thought it was barbaric. But I'd u guys want it In I have no objections

I forgot Poland but again that's debatable but what would Be cool would be a "minor allied power" nation to represent all the small allied countries that got whipped like Poland, Belgium, Netherlands, Norway, etc. even possibly a "minor axis power" force to represent Romania/hung...

This way it's not so many nations and not as much work to get an alpha version out there. Really it could be limited to 4-5 if u wanted with just Germany, US, UK, Soviet Union, and Japan as those were the major combatants.

Seems to be too many nations to deal with at first. In my humble opinion it should be limited to ww2 nations for now and should only include the main combatants. French being in there are debatable...they really didn't do much except sit behind the magonit line and get there asses handed to them in ...

But why would u wanna advance tho if u lost all ur Jedi? Perhaps republic and empire as separate races as in the star war age of empires would be more appropriate?

Should have excellent and quick but light infantry, sub par tanks, excellent and quick but flimsy aircraft, and a above average navy. Should have below average build times but not super slow. Below average arty as well but not horrible.

Weak but easily produced and quick tanks to represent Shermans. Paratroopers could be elite infantry force that, if possible, could be spawned within a certain radius of an airfield or something.

Should have elite but expensive tanks, elite but slow and expensive infantry, good Air Force, and weak navy. Should be all about quality of units. SS would be cool to implement as a sort of super elite infantry unit.

Soviet Union
Should have good artillery, cheap crappy swarm infantry, and average tanks for balance. Should be able to build a huge army very quickly with a focus on attrition tactics. Weak Air Force. Weaker navy.

This would suit the game engine better imho. Melee units are easily bottleneckd but with all ranged this could be epic as fuk!!!! I went to college for history, specially military history with ww2 being my favorite era so again if any help is needed I'm happy to help!

And yea catapults REALLY hurt orcs lol. The fodder cannon is too useless and expensive to use. It should be inaccurate but have splash damage. I would personally also give it a chance to misfire and just kill the unit being shot to represent the makeshift building capabilities of the orcs.

I have to agree with blue Phoenix on this one Daniel, sorry. I think instead of this idea the monster cave idea which would allow for trolls and ettins to be produced without volcanoes would help and they desperately need faster anti archer units. I really liked my own idea of the goblin doom diver ...
