Well, at the time i destroy the castles the rest of the field was already mine, so no warships. And i stupidly forgot about assassins, so it take some turns.... every turn army of ornithopters from all towns moved there to strike and die, rest of the isle was filled with swordsmen and in a distance ...

Won it today.
Yes, it become harder because enemy ships now agressively go and wipe out everybody on the shores, so i have to defend near castles, not at the bridge.
But workers->fortresses for defense and catapults+ornithopters for atack still beats all enemies.

It is possible to go to the east TC with your archers/swordsmen. I survived 3 turns in the TC. I tried to convert a knight but unfortunately it failed... Not just one TC, i've managed to capture the north-east one and survived about 3 turns there (built a worker but haven't time to complete a tower...

My favorite map so far). The later two maps are easier and require more boring movements here and there, but this one is concentrated "omg catapults and ornithopters and horde of elephants is moving to us from all sides". But i didn't used priests, just workers, towers, then catapults with area dama...
