Re: chariot armor in blacksmith
I agree. Chariot isn't a particularly strong unit, and it should benefit from cavalry bonuses Its strength has nothing to do with it. It is already affected by bonuses, the question is with which? It is currently affected with infantry bonuses; Darkknight suggests it be affected with cavalry bonuse...

Re: tech/spell(?): commune (elves) - IMPLEMENTED
The nature call tech for elves seems to work wonders when used on a map with animals, but there are a few issues I have noticed with it. 1. I know it will be fixed later, but animals aren't really present in many maps yet. 2. The automatic actions at turn end will have every archer in range shootin...

Re: Why ballista makes area damage?
I think that ballista shouldn't make are damage. Just very high damage to a single enemy unit I agree...even oversized units (catapults, elephants, etc...) would take a significant amount of damage from a 2 1/2 meter-long, 20-Kg sharpened wooden stake impacting them at around 150 Km/Hr...but it sti...

Re: Master craftsmen
exactly, and that fits in with the entire concept of the MC's...they are engineers, not combat units, but would be invaluable in a siege campaign, so would need to be protected mightily (they're also expensive...)...I was simply expanding on what was already being said for the sake of clarity...

I still think we need a way to go through obstacles like forests and even rock in time of course, as they did in the day nothing stopped those guys they found a way. yes, the chariot's weapon was generally a spear/lance, not a sword--swords at that time were mainly fairly dull, short bludgeoning weapons with a minimal reach...not well suited to a charioteer's use...

Re: chariot upgrade
I'm saying the upgrade itself should be extra speed, rather than offensive ability...a chariot was a mode of transportation long before it was used in warfare, and the problem of writing the coding for a chariot's attack still remains...it's essentially a horse-drawn cart not an armored personnel ca...
